David is a Design Engineer for Acorn, primarily responsible for civil/site and stormwater design. David excels at AutoCAD, Civil3D, HydroCAD and researching town and city ordinances to ensure projects meet local guidelines. David is a licensed Engineer Intern (E.I.) in Maine with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine in Orono, with a concentration in water resources. David specializes in urban infill and stormwater design. His projects at Acorn include office to residential conversions, the West Bayside redevelopment in Portland and multiple urban retrofit and redesign projects.
Outside of work, David likes to stay active by hiking in the mountains, grilling near the water or exploring Maines natural environment with friends and family. He also enjoys exploring Portland on his cool electric skateboard.
