Health Clinic
A health clinic in southern Maine decided to add an additional parking area to support their
growing traffic needs as well as enhance pedestrian access across the facility. Acorn
recognized the opportunity to integrate green stormwater solutions to manage runoff from the
newly created impervious surfaces.

Portland Trails Stroudwater Connector Trail Design
Acorn provided trail planning and design services for Portland Trails’ newly proposed Stroudwater Connector Trail, a multi-modal commuter trail running between Portland and Westbrook.

Quill Hill Trail Design
Acorn worked with High Peaks Alliance to provide trail design services in the development of an approximately 1-mile accessible loop that circles the summit of Quill Hill, a unique dive-up site that offers 360-degree views of many of Maine’s most impressive peaks.
