Charlie is a design engineer at Acorn, where he specializes in a range of civil/ site design, stormwater modeling, and guiding projects through all levels of permitting. Charlie earned his B.S. in Human-Centered Engineering from Boston College where he concentrated in Environmental Engineering. He is a licensed Engineering Intern (E.I.) in the State of Maine and is proficient in AutoCAD drafting, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and excel modeling. His projects include design and permitting work for housing developments and retrofits, stormwater management systems, stream crossings and culverts, coastal resiliency projects, and more across the state.
In his spare time, you can find him sailing around Casco Bay, camping in the Midcoast, or hanging around the bonfire with his parents and sisters in Newcastle. He also enjoys a good game of pickup ice hockey.
