Anna Carmody is a Project Engineer at Acorn, where she specializes in civil/site, utility, and stormwater design. She brings hands-on experience with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, GIS, and Microsoft applications to support comprehensive civil site design, plan development, and permitting efforts. Her work on a diverse range of projects, includes permitting and design for new development and redevelopment projects spanning single- and multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. In addition to her core responsibilities, she has a strong interest in trail planning and landscape design, contributing to projects that balance functionality, sustainability, and user experience.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Michigan State University, with a concentration in Ecosystems, providing a strong foundation in environmentally informed design practices. When she’s off the clock, Anna loves getting outside—camping, hiking, trail running, gardening and exploring New England. She also enjoys creating ceramics, getting out into the community, and meeting new people while discovering new places to explore.
