As a Project Engineer at Acorn and professional problem-solver, Andrew approaches civil site design with steady awareness and an upright spine. He loves the intricacies and challenge of building human life on top of the land—and the teamwork of colleagues, disciplines, and stakeholders to turn these visions into a reality. Andrew is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine with a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, he brings Civil 3D and Hydro CAD to life for his favorite type of project—urban infill housing in the greater Portland area—with good coffee on hand, and a deep breath every 5 or so mouse clicks. And at least one ping pong match per day.
When he’s not working Andrew has a frisbee in hand and will be found outside—fully immersed in nature on a bike, kayak, or cross-country skis. Or peering into drainage basins if he’s in the city. Whether at work or play, Andrew likes to practice the art of being exactly where he is—always a little amused by the whole wide scene.
