Obtained a VRAP and NAA for the site. Submittal included an SMP, sub-slab vapor mitigation, removal and off-site disposal of accumulated material within floor drains, in-place closure of a subsurface oil storage tank location, and removal of asbestos-containing (ACM) floor tiles and window glazing.
Managed VRAP remedial activities alongside general contractor and construction manager at the 1.2-acre site and within the existing 41,000 ft building.
Prepared a Declaration of Environmental Covenant (DEC) for the site to ensure proper management of heavy metal and PAH-containing soils kept on site and placed under engineered cover systems such as asphalt and concrete.
