Danielle McGowan is a Project Engineer for Acorn, primarily responsible for civil/site, utility, and stormwater design. She has experience using Civil3D, HydroCAD, Excel, Microsoft Word, and GIS interpolating to aid in Acorns’ Civil Site design and plan development. Danielle is a licensed Engineer Intern (E.I.) in Maine with her B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine in Orono, with a concentration in water resources. Danielle’s projects include permitting and design work for Maine solar farms, multi-family, commercial, retail, subdivisions developments as well as forensic wastewater sampling. Additional responsibilities include stormwater design, preparation of the construction plan sets, permitting, and construction inspection/reporting.
In her spare time Danielle enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, and any other activity that allows her to enjoy Maine’s great outdoors.
