Craig Burgess, PE

Project Manager

Craig is a Project Manager at Acorn Engineering with over 18 years of combined experience in the land development industry. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine and is a LEED Green Associate. Working on a variety of institutional, municipal, and private sector projects in Maine has garnered him extensive knowledge in land use standards and permitting strategies. He is involved in all facets of civil/site design, permitting, and low impact development (LID), and delivers creative engineering solutions to create cost-effective, sustainable, and aesthetic projects. Craig excels in communication which fosters a collaborative approach in meeting his clients’ vision.

When he is not solving Maine’s future infrastructure challenges, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, their three kids, and two dogs. He can often be found fishing, hiking anywhere but with a special love for the White Mountains, skiing, camping, and relaxing at the beach.
