Alex is a landscape architect, licensed in ME, NH, and CA, with over 16 years of experience in the field. Working across both coasts, her work spans detailed hardscape and planting layouts for residential properties to large-scale infrastructure planning projects. Her extensive project management and design experience includes public parks and playgrounds, school campuses, large-scale residential projects, street scopes and corporate campuses among others. And, more recently her passion for stormwater projects and working with native, naturalized landscapes lead her to obtain a Stormwater Management Certificate from the University of New Hampshire.
Alex has a BA in Fine Art from Yale University and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design. In her spare time (what spare time!), Alex enjoys exploring Portland’s playgrounds and nature hikes with her partner, David, and their two young sons.
