Pete is a Project Manager at Acorn and has over 10 years of civil engineering experience and a diverse personal project profile throughout Maine and northern New England. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine, Vermont & New Hampshire, a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control and has a B.S. in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Pete specializes in providing urban redevelopment, civil/site design, construction administration and municipal consulting with a focus on the construction of infill site development, residential and commercial subdivisions, restoration of urban impaired watersheds, stormwater design & retrofits, and low impact development (LID).
Pete’s previous experience in civil design and construction administration work includes large subdivisions, roadway & utility design and inspection, artificial turf athletic field design and installation, urban impaired stream restoration and water quality improvements. He is well versed in the local, state, and federal permitting, including Maine Stormwater Law, Maine Site Law, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements. Pete has developed a successful track record managing multiple stakeholders including but not limited to municipal, state, and federal regulatory authorities, quasi-municipal, adjacent landowners, and contractors.
In his free time, Pete likes to get outside to ski, hike and be on the water with his wife and dog.
